Today is the 11th annual Manaiakalani Film Festival. This year room 8 has been learning and talking about what it is to be kind and how to show kindness. We have learned that doing a random act of kindness for someone can be as simple as holding the door open or giving someone a smile but kindness does make a difference.
Room 8 decided that we should show others how to be kind and learnt that by doing a random act of kindness it can have a ripple effect and can be passed on until it could come back to you. Kia orana room 8, my name is Mamarei. I loved this movie, i even think that this might be my favorite movie. I think it's really important to spread kindness everywhere. It's really nice when Jarreka helped out Nahea when she was walking in the rain. I think that the one think that made me laugh was when tisa opened the door for nesi and nesi laughed.
