Camp Reflections

Last week we had an amazing time at our year 5 and 6 camp at Pt England School. This week we have been reflecting on our experiences and thanking the people who helped us. Check out Aniqua's thankyou letter below.  You can also click on the link to her blog and leave her a positive comment.

Thank You Letter

Task descriptionLast week we had an amazing camp at our school. Today we learned how to write a thank you letter. I decided to thank Miss Timmi because she was our camp mum and looked after us all. Below is my letter.

Dear Miss Timmi,

Thank you for making the food at camp, It was very yummy and nice. I loved the dinner and the breakfast. It was  delicious and yummy. We were so lucky to have you cook us food.

I am grateful for you being camp mum because you looked after us and made sure we were okay. You looked after all of the kids at camp which was a lot.

I am also grateful for having a yummy cooked meal every day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert. It was my camp highlight. Thank you so much for everything you are amazing.

Yours sincerely,

Aniqua

Camp Week

This week we room 10 and team four were lucky enough to have our Year 5 and 6 Camp on the school field. We had the opportunity to sleep in tents that were put up for us by Mrs Nua, Ms Squires and some of the other lovey teachers and students at Pt England. We had so much fun at camp and were able to complete activities like kayaking, killer zone, slip and slide, cycloball and many other awesome activities. We had a camp concert night were we all got to preform an item in our camp groups! On the last day we went to the pools and had lots of fun! Check out some of our photos, we will post more next week.

Thankyou so much to Mr Somerville, Mr Burt, Mrs Nua, Mr Jacobson, Ms Squires and Mrs Lagitupu for making it possible for us to have a camp at school. As well as a massive thankyou to all of our whanau who helped with cooking, security and other activities you are amazing! We appreciate you!
